S9+ Volume Randomly Changes When Playing Music

Problem: I need someone’s help I am having issues with my sound on my new phone. When I play a song or a music video, the volume keeps fading in and out from super low to very loud… Why is this happening? How do I fix it? I just got this phone and I am already having a defect with it? I had the volume full blast and it keeps fading in and out without me touching the volume control.

Solution:
This issue is most likely caused by a software glitch which should be resolved by following the troubleshooting steps listed below.
  • Make sure to update your phone software to the latest version.
  • Update your phone apps from the Google Play Store.
  • Check if the issue occurs when the phone is started in Safe Mode. If the problem does not occur then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Try wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode then check if the issue still occurs.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Check if the issue still occurs.

S9+ Not Playing Music On Bluetooth After Software Update

Problem: I have samsung galaxy s9 plus. After updating my phone, it’s having problem with every bluetooth speaker or car stereo. It gets connected but show talking or calling and don’t play music. If i cut that call then it starts playing in mobile phone in very minimal volume. And if i wait for some time (that can be 1 minute or that can be 10 minute ) then it starts playing in bluetooth speaker but as i reconnect it, same thing happens. I tried this to various speakers and cars. Please provide any solution. And there is one another problem, whenever i talk on call having speaker on, the other user can’t hear my voice sometimes.

Solution:
If this issue occurred right after a software update then it is most likely caused by old software data that has not been completely removed during the update process. This old data has the tendency of causing a conflict with the new software version resulting in issues such as this. The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

S9+ Bluetooth Audio Randomly Skips

Problem: Bluetooth in my 2018 ford f250. While not moving, with engine on or off, bluetooth skips constantly 5 or 6 times a minute. I have cleared bluetooth cache, force stopped, and restarted dozens of times and helps for 2 or 3 minutes sometimes. I turned battery optimization off for all apps . Re-paired device several times .Master reset the truck system as well. Able to connect my phone to headphones and speakers no problems at all. Other people can connect their phone to my truck and they have no issues . Every media app skips Pandora, audible, Google music, youtube, even my game apps . The best part is: while the truck is in motion, all media plays fine, no skips at all . Only when the vehicle is not in motion is there a problem. Drives my crazy . Whether it is plugged into the charger or unplugged makes no difference .It does seem to work when I am plugged into the sync port, I have only done this once. Please help.

Solution:
You can try to do a factory reset on your phone then check if the issue still occurs. Just make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. In case the issue still persists then this might be caused by a problem with the car firmware. Try to check if a new firmware version is available then update accordingly.
